Mother who has refused to give her nine-year-old daughter the swine flu vaccination

A mother is being taken to court by her ex-partner for refusing to allow their daughter to have the swine flu vaccine. The 44-year-old, a former international consultant, opted to take her daughter, 9, out of the immunisation programme run at her private school because she had reservations about the safety of the vaccine. However, when news of her choice reached her former partner, 46, a financial consultant, he strongly disagreed. He has now launched a civil action in the family court division of the Jersey Royal Court in the hope it will decide that the girl must be inoculated. It is the first case of its kind and could set a precedent for future parental disputes over the vaccine. The Mother said: "I am concerned about the long term impact of the vaccination. We were all told in the 1970s that thalidomide was safe for pregnant women, and look what happened."

WHO Questioned As Hospital Employee Struck Down By Swine Flu Vaccine

The swine flu vaccination programme in the Isle of Man has suffered a setback. A member of staff at Noble's Hospital became ill shortly after receiving the vaccine. The case led to some appointments in the vaccination programme, which started on Monday, being suspended. Comment from Manx Forums: Attention needs to be drawn to a number of alerts now being raised about the connections of some of the WHO's senior flu advisors, who shockingly have been shown to have close connections to the pharmaceutical companies now making Billions out of 'Swine Flu' vaccines and drugs, even though scientific doubt has been cast on the utility of these for years. It appears that the World Health Organisation (a branch of the World Trade organisation) has seemed a little too keen to promote these interventions, in the face of overwhelming evidence against the need for them. This smacks of corruption at the highest level, particularly as their chief - Dr Margaret Chan - is on record a s claiming that H1N1 posed a threat to 'all of humanity', even though she provided no basis for such a claim. The public really needs to wake up and start to question just what the hell has been going on.

Media Swine Flu Panic Promotion Poses Consumer Threat

In response to the article entitled, Get vaccine to those who need it most, I believe that the urgency for the vaccine expressed by the media poses a threat to consumers. The H1N1 vaccine is considered experimental and could have unknown side effects. The vaccination's safety should be in question, and therefore, this form of prevention is not worth the risks it entails. The pharmaceutical industry is making a major profit off this virus, and I can't help but to question their intentions with these promotions for a risky drug. I feel that before the population goes to get vaccinated, they should first look into the negative effects this drug can have on its users.

Canadian Backlash Against H1N1 Vaccine Media Promotion

In reading this paper's opinion on getting vaccinated I find this paper Orwellian.
You have now become the politically correct rant of the governmental and scientific propagation machine that continually drones in our ears about what is best for us. This vaccine has harmful chemicals, nor has it been tested properly as to it's long range effects. Think Thalidomide. Media has been well-known to take the politically correct stance in most matters, adhering to some governmental or other self interest group's social-experiment spin that the majority of people may not agree with. This paper needs to shut up with its stance and allow people to decide for themselves without all the name calling and disparaging attitude against those who disagree with your view on the subject.
