Summary

The biggest relationship of Rumpel/Gold's life is Baelfire --
there's a huge tension there between what Rumpel/Gold is doing to
reach Bae and what Bae would be happy with his father doing, and I'd
love to see fic that engages with that question, however subtly.
Anything from a plotty tale to a snippet of their relationship or
perhaps eventual reunion would be lovely -- as long as there's at
least a nod to how complex it is likely to be for them.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Summary

My favorite interaction in DS9, which abounds in awesome
relationships/interactions, was between Kira and Garak in the last
season -- they made such a crackling team, with Kira's distrust for
Cardassians in general and distrust of Garak in particular, and
Garak's, well, distrust of everyone -- and yet they have this respect
for each other that is almost like friendship, not least because both
of them are crazy competent at what they do, and also because they
both have specific personality strengths. I would absolutely love to
see a plotty tale where their strengths and competencies (and
snarkiness!) work together, or a snippet where they learn things about
each other (and get to snark, of course!). I'd really rather not see
them in a romantic relationship, because I don't think that works with
their characters.

Summary

I would love for Ekaterin to be the hero of her own tale
instead of just Mrs. Auditor-Wife-and-Mother, but really, anything
where you can get my four favorite characters together, however you
can, and acting in their own awesome ways (Ekaterin being
understatedly competent, Illyan being loyal and super-analytic, Gregor
bearing the weight of being the Emperor, and Ivan being, well, Ivan),
is good in my book -- I'm not even sure how this would be done (which
is why I'm asking for it); surprise me!
