Pakpattan (NNA) Police has arrested accused Ghulam Nabi at graveyard Abdullah Shah and recovered 150 grams of charas from his possession,Police has arrested Zaeen Abbas at chak Adha Bonga Hayyat and recovered 210 grams of charas from his possession .Police has recovered Pistol 30 bore from accused Zaeen Abbas at Adha Chakbedi from his possession,Police has arrested accused Muhammad Riaz at bridge Khadar canal and recovered revolver 32-bore from his possession,Police have registered separate cases.
Pakpattan (NNA) Ahahid Raffique vice-president and Malik Nusrullah General secreatary of Public Transport Private Owners Association Pakpattan said in press release on appeal of Pakistan Motor Transport Federat- ion Lahore would be observed wheels jam strike on Feb.12 and Feb.13 .They said that all buses and wagons would be closed on Feb.12 and Feb.13 against increasing fine to vehicles in Punjab.
Pakpattan (NNA) 3 persons were seriously injured in different accidents.Ms.Shahnaz Bibi of chak 37-sp was crossing the road on Sahiwal road when Speedy car MNQ-7297 hitted ,as a result her arm and leg were broken.She was rushed to Hospital,later She was shifted to Sahiwal.Ejaz Ahmad 30of chak 120/9-L and Pervaiz 10 of chak Malikpur were seriously injured.The injurees were rushed in Hospital.

Pakpattan (NNA) Loadshedding irks people The people of Pakpattan city and adjoining areas unscheduled loadshedding faced several problems due to 12 to 14 hours the power supply remained suspended many time by mepco authorty without any pripor Notice . The People have strongly protested against this nasty situation ,and demanded
immediate rectification of the problem. The citizens have criticised the Mepco
officials for not announcing schedule for loadshedding. They have appealed to Caretaker
Federal Minister water and power to look into the matter and ensure end unscheduled loadshedding in Pakpattan City and Adjoining areas.The citizens have condemned unscheduled loadshedding to 12 to 14 hours

MPA of PML-Q Dr.Farrukh Javed .Both PML-N candidate from NA-166 Rana Zahid Hussain and PML-N from PP-230 Dr.Farrukh Javed have supported Arian and Rajput .People are not pleased with Dr.Juniad Mumtaz Joya and Mian Amjid joya .It may pound Dr.Juniad Mumtaz Joya,s problems.If Dr.Juniad Mumtaz Joya and Dr.Farrukh Javed set aside their differences ,both Dr.Juniad Mumtaz Joya and Rana Zahid Hussain can give a tough time to their each other.The chances are that Rana Zahid Hussain of PML-N NA-166 seat and Dr.Juniad Mumtaz Joya of PML-Q will push PPP candidate Rana Naeem Mahmood Khan to third position.in 1977 Raja Shahid Saeed Khan had won this seat while his son Raja Shahid Saeed Khan Had won 1985,1988,1990 3 times.and lost in 1993 by Mian Muhammad Amjid joya uncle of Dr.Juniad Mumtaz Joya.Rana Zahid Hussain won local bodies election
in 1987 and elected member of District Council Sahiwal,later He was elected Vice-Chairman of District Council Sahiwal and won General Election 1997 as member of Provicial Assembly.Rana Naeem Mahmood Khan of PPP was won National Assembly from Harrupa district Sahiwal in 1985 and lost in 1988 seat in 1988 in Arifwala.Dr.Juniad Mumtaz Joya was won General Election 2002 as candidate of PML-Q .PML-Q has awarded party ticket from pp-230 to Ch.Ibrahim in General Election 2008.Ch.Ibrahim is quite new to this level of politics in the constituency pp-230.There would be a tough fight between these two political big gums Dr.Juniad Mumtaz Joya from PML-Q and Rana Zahid Hussain of PML-N in this constituency during the Feb.18,20 08 general elections.
