In the past, I have visited http://www.cunningham.me.uk/mlowiki (and
it is still listed as the location of the mlo wiki on
http://mylifeorganized.net/products/my-life-organized/wiki.html) but
it is just returning a blank page.

Has the wiki been relocated? Or is it currently without a home?

I ran into the same annoyance a few months ago when I started using MLO. I was able to find cached pages for the wiki on Google or archive.org, but what I did find wasn't particularly helpful...it looked like there were only a few entries.

It would be awesome if there were actual in-depth case studies and examples on the main MLO page.

I found the best way to learn how to use MLO is to create a profile using one of each of the new profile templates in the Android app, so you can see different ways of organizing your outline. Make sure you go through all the tutorial tasks in the tutorial profile, too.

If you want to use it for GTD, some of the other users here have come up with some good workarounds (like auto-assigning a context to a task when you move it to a new parent in the outline), but there still isn't a good built-in mechanism for reviewing. You pretty much have to use the desktop version and create an extra checklist that helps you go through the review. Share to MLO (on Android) is nice when it doesn't create tons of duplicates. Email to cloud is still in beta, I think, but it also helps a lot with getting items into the system.
