I signed up for MLO cloud sync to use the beta Android app and a
simple sync of my data. Maybe I set it up wrong, but I still have to
click to sync on my Windows computers and Android phone. Is this
correct?? Or is there (I sure hope) and auto sync setting I am
missing.

If not my old DropBox setup worked better and it was free. Yes, no
Android access, but DropBox can auto save my MLO data so when I logged
of my Desktop and later logged into my laptop my data was updated.

I sure hope I am missing something....

Kenny,

You're not missing anything, autosync is not implemented yet.
It's already being designed though.

I use DropBox to sync between various computers and it works great.  According to the DropBox website, they have an API that lets apps access a file on DropBox (https://www.dropbox.com/developers/docs)  I wish the developers would add the ability for MLO to use DropBox to sync the Android and iPhone products; I think it would even be worth paying a one-time "upgrade" fee for this instead of being locked into the cloud sync.

I really hope you will add this functionality quite soon!

For those still desperately waiting for autosync functionality: I am
experimenting with AutoIt and the following script might just do the
trick (after editing for the mlo file you want to sync):

While True
ControlSend("MyLifeOrganizedOutlookWork.ml - MyLife Organized", "",
"TActionMainMenuBar1", "{F9}" )
Sleep(300000) ;five minutes
WEnd

Another option is to use the built in Windows scheduling functionality
along with the MLO command line. This will allow you to sync when MLO
is not open/running. You can also sync multiple MLO files if, for
example, you had an MLO file for completed/archived tasks.

I posted detailed instructions & screenshots here:
