Link back to Outlook broken

[Bill Higgs]

I am using Office 2010. I drag an email to MLO to create a task and a
link back to the orginal email. When I click on the link I get:

MyLife Organized
Could not execure
Outlook:
0000000018F0380593D50248B69D794BB3ED0B8407001A61FC8DA2F4C84BB1366BDF5173127E000000904B6B000066C999EB18F1E84684DD4CD8911C04250000049353680000
The operating system denied acces tot he specified file.

I'm having the same problem after I migrated to Outlook 2007... any
fix for that?

Yes the fix is just to run mlo installation again. Office installation
broken this function.

Well, I'm using the portable version of MLO and never actually
installed it on this PC. Any other workaround?

The MLO installer should run to add entries to the registry. Microsoft
does not support the links to Outlook from one of the latest versions
of the office and MLO has to emulate it by adding records to
registry.

Thanks a lot for your help. I did run the installer and then the
uninstaller and I'm back using my portable version without any
problems with the Outlook links.

reinstalled MLO 3.5.6

Is there a known problem with Outlook 2010, or should this work?

I really don't want to have to down grade just to get this working.
