Hello, Mpir-devel.
New version of X-MPIR 0.2 - C# wrapper for MPIR, is released. It can
be downloaded from
http://www.alglib.net/x/xmpir/xmpir-0.2.zip
The most essential thing in the new version is Linux support. It was
only tested with Ubuntu, but should work with any Linux distribution.
Windows version of interface aims for the binary compatibility -
program can be just copied to another system (even from 32 bits to 64
bits) and it will work. But Linux version takes another approach - it
should be rebuilt each time you install program on a new system
(because of well-known binary compatibility issues with different
distributions).
Plans for the near future:
* to improve installation system. Currently it is just a set of
scripts which must be executed in order to compile X-MPIR. Maybe
something closer to autotools is needed...
* to write a test suite for a new interface
Anyone with interest in C# wants to review new version of interface?
