I am newbie to Bugzilla, we recently installed bugzilla in our system and
would like to customize the homepage. When some valid user would login
homepage should display the bugs status , resolved, un-resolved count.

You need to edit the index.html.tmpl template file. What we've done at
my site is generate a PNG URL for Bug Count By Resolution, then add that
URL as an <img> to the index.html.tmpl page. Then every time someone
visits the home page, they see a picture for the bug counts.
