[mongodb-user] Recommended sharding server specs

mongod as a shard obviously needs plenty of RAM but what kind of
resource usage is expected from mongod when it is the config server?

Config servers are basically just storing metadata, so in general will
need far less horsepower than a shard server. Can also run both a
config server and a shard on the same physical node,.

A very conservative estimate is 1k of config server ram per 200mb of user data.
