*Or has it already started? I read somewhere on some supposedly
"authoritative" website that there hasn't been an increase in brain
tumors! However, I have never in my life known so many people either
with a brain tumor themselves or a friend or family member with a
brain tumor. After the article appearing on Dr. Mercola's website
below, I am posting some links I have found which appeared so far in
2008 relating to well-known people diagnosed, operated on, receiving
treatment, or deceased due to brain tumors.
Among them are Senator Ted Kennedy, *Nightline Journalist *Martin
Bashir**, California band Lit's drummer Allen Shellenberger, 20th
century cultural icon Yves Saint Laurent,** *Former Rugby Star *Julian
Huxley**, Gospel singer Vuyo Mokoena, German hockey *Kölner *goalie
Robert Mueller, Opera singer Russell Watson, Houston neurosurgeon
Samuel Hassenbusch, Radio host Eleanor Mondale,
*Saxophonist/composer *Andrew D'Angelo*, *well-known surgeon Dr. Barry
Ling, Former New York Yankees outfielder Bobby Murcer, *former
cricketer *Alan Igglesden*, *Jamaican producer / reggae star Mikey
Dread, and Seattle TV anchor Kathi Goertzen.
I expect we will be seeing an increasing number of well-known people
with brain tumors along with their not well-known counterparts.
