It
is appalling that it is so easy to fool people for so many years,
"says freelance journalist Mona Nilsson on the latest report
from the Radiation Safety Authority scientific advice.
According
to the group's chairman Anders Ahlbom, there are no health risks from
radiation from mobile telecommunications. Mona
Nilsson in contrast, believes that the experts themselves are
interested parties and the Agency's investigations are merely window
dressing. The new report from the Radiation Safety Authority is a
compilation of hundreds of research studies conducted on humans,
animals and cell cultures. According to the Authority sees no risks
such as cancer, effects on human fertility, sleep or genes linked to
radiation from mobile communications, reported Swedish Radio.
Mona
Nilsson is a freelance journalist and author of the book "Game
of 3G - facts and disinformation in the wireless society"
(2005). She tells The Epoch
Times that in examining the issue of risks from electromagnetic
fields (EMF) and mobile telephony as a result a foregone conclusion,
it is the same experts who sit and "expertiserar" about the
risks of mobile phones and EMF almost everywhere.
Often
they are members or advisory experts to the ICNIRP (International
Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection), the organization
that has set the limit to which most nations apply. ICNIRP
limit and cherished, in turn, the mobile industry. The limit protects
only against the immediate effects of radiation, but not the effects
after prolonged exposure, "explains Mona Nilsson
Mona
Nilsson do not think there has been no serious examination of
research studies. The
result is a foregone conclusion.
- It presents a number of
studies showing the risks, but these are subject to criticism. Then
he presented a series of industry-funded studies that show no effect,
but without industry funding reported. The
research is said to be contradictory and "the majority of
studies show no risk." A lot of studies showing the risks are
simply omitted. For the oinsatte look seriously into it. But if you
scratch the surface and examine it all emerges a serious fraud. This
is done to defend the huge economic interests.
As
an example, mentions Mona Nilsson 15 major studies showing adverse
effects on reproduction, both in humans and in animal experiments,
not included in the Infectious Disease Control Agency's latest
report.
Underlying the report is a group of researchers from five
countries: Sweden, Finland, France, USA and UK.
According
to Mona Nilsson ICNIRP also a link to the WHO, she explains that the
ICNIRP honorary chairman Michael Repacholi has been responsible for
WHO's work on the issue of the WHO and marketed the ICNIRP limit. He
has tied ICNIRP-experts to the WHO, among them Anders Ahlbom, Leek
Kheifets, Rick Saunders and Bernard Veyret in Radiation Protection
Authority's scientific advice.
- When the authorities refer
to the WHO, it sounds serious and credible. Few know it's the same
people who sit on chairs and all the experts that the mobile industry
is largely financed the WHO's efforts to market the ICNIRP limit,
"says Mona Nilsson.
Mona
Nilsson is deeply concerned about the situation.
-
We see that the trees are dying, small birds disappear from the big
cities and even seabirds affected. Mobile
phone technology is exposing people to very dangerous and it is
criminal that there may only continue. If
it can continue like this we will have an epidemic of brain tumor
cases. And
soon begin construction of the 4G-master.
Mona
Nilsson will not give up their jobs despite the fact that the public
does not seem to take the risks seriously. She
hopes that people will soon realize the risks of radiation from
mobile telephony before it is too late. In about a month she expects
to come out with his new book called mobile radio health risks.
-
What drives me is caring about people and the environment. I
also feel anger when I know that it deceives people and expose them
to great risks under false assurances that risks exist, summarize
Mona Nilsson.
