Subject: TAKE ACTION on RF health policy

There are three timely steps you can take now to push for change on Radiofrequency Radiation health effects policy. Please circulate this message as widely as possible for the greatest possible participation.

Step One - Go to www.ipetitions.com/petition/bioinitiativeemrpi/ to sign the Petition to endorse the recommendations of The BioInitiative Report. The Petition and background information are found at that link.

Step Two - Action by citizens of the United States. This Action needs to be done March 24-26, 2008. Members of Congress are on Easter Recess now so their staff members have more time to consider requests for new action.

Your time and effort are needed now as follow up on the initiative we began with the Congressional briefing held on May 10, 2007. Host of the briefing Vermont Congressman Peter Welch is inviting the chairmen and ranking members of House Committees responsible for health research and policy to join him in taking action. The American public needs our federal health agencies to oversee a robust research strategy to address the scientific uncertainties about long-term exposures to electromagnetic radiation emanating from cell phones and antenna base stations, wireless internet, TV and FM broadcast towers, radar and power lines.

E-mail us at info@emrpolicy.org and let us know you have sent your letters so we can follow up.

Please FAX staff members of House Committees responsible for health research and policy. Your request is for the chairmen and ranking members of those committees to join Congressman Peter Welch of Vermont in calling for federal action on electromagnetic and radiofrequency radiation health research.

Click on each link below. Add your name, your address and the date to each of these letters. Print each one out. FAX to the number given at the top of each letter.

Each letter will be distributed to the necessary staff members who will forward your request to the chairman and ranking member of the subcommittees for which they work.

Thank you to all for making time to participate. Policy change will only come when there is evidence that many voices are speaking together to push for change.
