I'm using a command button to open a user form, which
works fine. I'd rather not see the button when the
document's printed, but the button has no "visible"
property. Changing the width and height properties still
leaves a dot of varying sizes. Is there any way to stop
the button from printing?

Thanks,
Menachem

Hi Menachem,

Have you considered using a custom toolbar instead? This will have the added
advantage of not risking the document corruption sometimes reported with
placement of ActiveX controls in a document.

The following web page tells (among other things) how to assign a macro to a
toolbar button.

I assume you are using a Macrobutton field on the document. If that
is the case display the field codes for the field and set the font to
hidden.

This will allow you to not print the macrobutton. Then when printing
turn off the option to print hidden text.
However, this assumes that you do not have other hidden text that you
do want to print.

Personally I would put the button on a toolbar or even replace the
filePrint and/or FilePrintDefault routine for the document's template.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
TonyS.
