QuickLaunch Icons created at domain login

Hi,

I have XP SP2 image sysprepped and working fine, it joins the machine to
the domain, etc. If I log on to the machine as local admin, everything is
fine, there are NO quicklaunch icons created. However, if I log on with a
domain account (any domain account) it creates 4 quicklaunch icons. One is
for Outlook 2003, which is installed (this icon is OK), one is for the
desktop icon (this is OK), and then I have 2 bogey icons that get created.
One is for Word, but the icon is generic and does not work, and the other is
for explorer, which is also generic and does not work.

I can go to c:\documents and settings\%userprofile%\application
data\internet explorer\quick launch, and delete the icons, but I would
rather clean out what is putting them there in the first place. BTW, these
icon create dates are July 2001, so it is something that has been going on
in this domain for a long time.

This happens for ANY domain account that logs in to the machine. (And it
isn't just this machine, it appears to be all machines.)
I have checked the default domain policy and see nothing there that would
create these.

Any idea where I can look, to troubleshoot this one?

I sussed it out. I turned up UserEnv logging, and saw that the icons were
being pulled from the netlogon Default User profile, so I am removing them
from there. That should take care of it....
