Problem: When attempting to copy a profile for use as a default
profile, you receive the error message:

"Failed to set Security on the Destination Profile. The system cannot
find
the file specified."

I had this exact same problem. I was further frustrated by the fact
that I found about 3 or 4 different posts from people with this same
problem... and no replies with any solutions! I will attempt to
remedy that situation now. Please folks, if you solve your own
problem, reply with a summary of your resolution for the benefit of
others!

The problem for me lay in the priveleges of the user attempting to
copy the profile. After thinking about this for a while, I realized
that in setting the access rights on the profile, the ownership of
some files was probably being changed. Even a domain administrator
cannot do this by default, they must be explicitly granted the
"Restore files and directories" privelege. It is located in group
policy under Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security
Settings/Local Policies/User Rights Assignment. Note that they must
have this privelege on the *destination* computer, so, for instance in
my case, I was attempting to copy the profile to a file server in a
different domain in the same forest, so I had to modify group policy
in that domain for the file server I was copying to and give the admin
in the other domain that restore privelege.
If you do not have a domain, I assume that you can just set this
privelege by running "gpedit.msc" on the computer you're on.

I also found I needed local administrator rights on the destination
computer, so you have set that by right clicking my computer,
selecting manage, expanding the Local Users and Groups folder,
selecting the Groups folder, and adding the appropriate user to the
Administrators group.

Hope this helps somebody out there.
