When I turn off my desktop or my laptop computers, I get the error message
"dwwin.exe - dll initialization failed".
After I OK that message, I get another error "sw: AcroRd32.exe - Application
error".
This started happening about a month ago. Both computers are used in a
wireless network.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem, doesn't look llike anyone found a
fix. I'm going to try upgrading to Acrobat Reader 8 and see what happens.

I found it.. maybe. Adobe say to update, so I'm trying the update to 7.09 and
see if that helps.

Shortly after I posted my problem last October, I uninstalled version 7.05 of
Acrobat, and installed version 6.0. It fixed the problem, so it was
definitely an Adobe issue. I'll try their latest version next. Thanks for
the reply.

I still think the problem is with the Adobe Reader. Try uninstalling Adobe
and see if you still get the error. If not, write or call the Adobe support
folks about the problem.
