In addition to the edit, see if this helps:
Go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr -regserver
You may also want to verify the winh32hlp.exe version listed under
System32. After installing XP SP1, the newer version isn't placed
there properly.
Workaround: Replace the one from the servicepackfiles with the one
listed under System32.
Restore winhlp32.exe for XP or XPSP1 (Line 57)
