When I click Appearance/Advanced inthe display properties and select the
Window item, the dropdown for the font and size are greyed out. I can change
the color of the Window text, but how do I change the font size? Also the
color for the Icon item is greyed out. I can change the text font and size
for 'Icon' but not its color.

If you select a windows and buttons setting other than Windows Classic, it
will override the following settings, except in some older programs.

Note: In order to fully use this feature you must have your Windows and
buttons setting on Windows Classic.

[[NOTE: You can change the look of individual items if you select Windows
Classic style in the Windows and buttons list on the Appearance tab of
Display Properties. (Right-click an empty area of your desktop, then click
Properties, and then click the Appearance tab). If you select a visual style
other than Windows Classic, that style determines the appearance of your
menus, fonts, icons, and other Window elements. ]]

Hello,

Is there a (user) REG key to block/remove access to the Display Properties
from both the Desktop and the Control Panel?

Thank you.

Eric
