Hello

I can't find a newsgroup room so I hope I can get an answer here in this
room.

All my newsgroups folders in the left column are listed in bold black.
Before only the ones I had a newsthread or my reply in it would be bold
text. So it were easy to locate the group.

But now everything is bold black even the ones I do not use or read. How
can I change it the way it was ? Also when I close the newsgroup it always
updates with new messages not only for the group I close but entire
newsgroups in the left column. Any fixes. Thank you.

Regards
Hash

You're using Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2670

Bold means that there are message headers and/or message bodies.

Delete every message header and message body and do not click on them again
while online.

OE | File | Work Offline | Right click each one | Properties | Local File
tab | Delete button

And to add to that, Hash, also right-click on each newsgroup in question,
select "Synchronization settings," and click "Don't synchonize." Otherwise
you will keep getting new messages when you do a "Sync All."

Alternatively, if you are no longer interested in a newsgroup, simply
unsubscribe from it.
