I have at least one item in the add/remove programs section of control panel
that I cannot seem to get rid of. The one thing called "Webfldrs Xp" has
nothing beside it to remove it or change it at all.
Is there some way to get rid of this stuff?
I have no idea what it even is.
Thanks

You can remove it with RegCleaner, free from www.jv16.org. It backs up
anything you remove, so if you delete something in error you can restore it.
But even so be VERY careful about removing unknown items! You may regret it.

This is a Windows component - 'Web Folders' which is used for some types
of file transfer over the net. You don't want to remove the service,
but probably *do* want to remove the entry from Add/Remove

To do that, Start - Run and run
regedit.exe

Open the left panel, explorer style, to
hlkmSOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
And in that look down for
{350C97B0-3D7C-4EE8-BAA9-00BCB3D54227}
Highlight and check that in the right pane the Display Name is in fact
Webfldrs XP, then hit Delete to delete it.
