My "system restore" feature will not work. I have tried 8 different dates
and times and the system wil not restore to any earlier date. My PC is
messed up and I'm thnking the easiest way to fix it is to do a "system
restore".
Please help.
Thanks,
John

Perhaps for you the easiest way to fix your system now is to do a clean
install of the operating system but you will need the original OS CD and
your serial number usually affixed at the back of the system.

Please also ensure you have backed up all your important data as clean
install means you wipe everything from the system (including all your
beloved viruses and spywares!!!).

See replies to your earlier, identical post (which did make it despite any
error messages you may have seen to the contrary):

Thanks.

I'll get to work on the repair. My system is running so slowly now that it
could take a while. I'll let youj know when I get it fixed.

I received 2 error messages so I posted the same post 3 times total.

The date and time was Thursday, February 12, 2009 7:49:05 AM, and on a
whim, D. pounded out on the keyboard:

Just when you need it most, it fails. Most likely there is corruption.
So you might as well turn SR off, then turn it back on to start clean.

Here are some t-shooting things you can try:
