Does anyone have any suggestions on how to uninstall SP3 back to SP2 for XP?
Some program is found unstable with SP3, should I uninstall SP3 back to SP2?
or Re-install XP with SP2, I prefer to uninstall SP3 back to SP2, but I don't
know whether the system will be stable or not if I do it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Try uninstalling the unstable application and then reinstalling
it.

In IE6 newsgroup, you said a program was unstable in IE7. Now you're saying
it's unstable in SP3?

What programme is unstable? What are you seeing that suggests the
programme is unstable?

Have a look in the System and Application logs in Event Viewer for
Errors and Warnings and post copies here. Don't post any more than 48
hours ago.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer. When researching the meaning
of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description
are important.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

Hope this helps.

That's highly unlikely. What program is unstable? Exactly what are
your symptoms of instability?

Have you made any attempt to simply uninstall through add or remove
programs in your control panel? It normally works quite well.

I have some doubts that the instability is directly related to SP3 but
without more it is really only an observation.

The application is not updated for SP3 and IE7, but XP is updated with SP3
and IE7, so I need to uninstall both service pack.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to uninstall them?
Thanks everyone very much for any suggestions
