I received the SP3 download thru auto updates and believe (think) I
installed it ok beacuse in my system info it shows, XP Pro Ver. 5.1.2600 ,
Sevice Pack 3 , Build 2600. Even in my system properties it comes up as SP3.
The question is, when I go to Windows Update & check my history,it shows
Service Pack 3 w/ a red X & yellow ? mark. If I click on it the info is an
error code of 0x80080008. I've checked my Add/Remove programs list and it is
listed but doesn't have an "Installed On" date listed.
So, do I have it, or is it just saying I do.Or,do I have a messed up
installation? It appeared the install went fine,no errors or warning popups.
