Getting 633 error.

I have been using broadband to login to the internet, but because of my
current location I must now use a dialup connection. I signed up for an
Earthlink account, and went through the setup wizard, but when I try to
login, I get a 633 error stating the modem is already in use. As far as I can
tell this is not the case. The modem seems to be in working order.
