Hi All,

I would to create an incoming connections but i've some
problems.

When I use the wizard to create the new connections it
don't display me the devices for incoming connection, the
wizard display me the window Incoming VPN Connection.
If I see the properties of the incoming connection
created whit this wizard i read "No hardware capable of
accepting calls is installed".

I've installed a Modem COM1 and a Communications Cable
between two computers COM2 (with Phone and Modem Options
control panel).

I accept suggests,

Thank, Max.

Hi Max,

You should ask this question in microsoft.public.windowsxp.general news group this one deals with Windows XP Embedded.

Best regards,
Slobodan

Hi Slobodan,

I've forgotten to say that I'm creating an XP Embedded
system.
Maybe i need to add some components to start this service.
I've the Dial-up server component and related components.
Max.

You have the various RAS components? My first build had an incoming
connection on the command shell, I could send you a component and some
instructions on how to do it without the wizard, but not, unfortunately,
until I get home - which won't be until the 25th.

Max,

There has been a pretty recent thread where I posted the list of components
(below) needed to have incoming connections working.
You may wan to start with it. Make sure you got these components in your
build (at least for testing purposes):

-RAS
"Dial-up Client for Windows"
"Dial-Up Networking Common Libraries"
"Primitive: Rasman"
"Remote Access Monitory"
"IP Router Monitor Library"

-RRAS
"Dial-up Server for Windows" (better use hotfix Q318138)
"Internet Protocol Network Address Translation"
"Internet Authentication Service (IAS) and Remote Access Common Files
"Network Routing"
"Routing Common Files"
"Routing Table Library"
"Connection Manager Runtime"
"Phone & Modem Control Panel"
"Primitive: Tapi32"
"TAPI User Interface"

And resolve these components' dependencies.

Also add
"RAS Async adapter"
"WAN Miniport"
"Primitive: Mpr"

Not all of the components are really needed for you but you can give it a
shot and then remove unnecessary stuff.
