I have another strange problem.

The Windows Explorer installed on my XPe image has the file menu
missing. Does anyone know why and how to fix it?

The XPe system has a touchscreen, no mouse no keyboard so it means you
can't copy paste files with explorer as you only have mouse left click.

Thanks
Helen

Usually right click can be configured when pressing for a second or
so.

Explorer file menu is controlled by a user configuration policy:

you could have a wrong set in registry:
HKLM
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Key: NoFileMenu Type REG_Dword
Set Value to 0 to show file menu

OR

Since this setting depends from a user policy, open the group policy
editor.
Start Run gpedit.msc
move to User Configuration - Administrative templates - Windows components -
windows explorer
and on the right side look for "Remove File Menu" then select "disable"

Check your touch screen driver settings, you should find a right button
emulation function.
Pressing on touch, for a defined time behaves as a right button pressure.

Thanks for all you help on this.

I do have standard menu shortcuts set in the image.

The hold for right click will sort the immediate issues.
Thanks
