I have 1 2GB Thumb Drive on which I want to backup Favourites/OE/My
Documents. My folders are not that large and the 2GB will be able to take it
all.
How do I backup these folders onto my Thumb Drive?
Thanks

I would simply copy and paste.

I believe you have left out some details...

However you could copy/paste...
You could SyncToy...
You could setup an actual backup job with a program of your choice...

You're welcome. Glad to help.

They are .dbx files. Search for them.

Having once found the OE folders, I keep a shortcut to them.
On my machine (substitute your own name, and possibly
tweak in other ways):

"C:\Documents and Settings\[myname]\
Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\
{33E9B4E3-7D50-4C66-92F9-3765EAF56A02}\
Microsoft\Outlook Express"

You could run the Files & Settings Transfer wizard - I think that copies
things like Outlook/Mail folders/settings, and your internet favourites, as
well as your data files.

How often you want to backup, if you want it automated, if you want to be
logged in/out or it doesn't matter, etc...

The Favorites folder can be in two places.

C:\Documents and settings\All Users
and
C:\Documents and settings\Your name

As for backing up OE data I use OE Backup

It can be found at:
