But you don't know how to work it.
Dan,
You need to use the Reply feature of your mail client to respond to
e-mails. Otherwise they appear as brand new emails with nothing to
relate them to your original thread and thus no one knows what you've
talking about.
Use Reply, not start a new post when you respond to someone's post.
HTH,

Here come the idiot-smiths; you're supposed to help since you claim to

I cannot help when there is no question/problem presented.
Let me give you the link to the entirety of this conversation and I ask you
(Twayne) to help me understand what - *without leaving this
conversation/thread* - someone is supposed to help within the confines of
this conversation:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics/browse_frm/thread/836632b036cb870f
In order to do anything with this post, one had to find what "Daniel Levitt"
had likely meant to do but had not done and respond to that message instead
of this one - which I did. There was no need to come back here and respond
with anything more because this person either learned or did not - and
still - they did not ask for anything at all.
As for the rest of your comment - it was uncalled for and I'll leave it at
that.
> Nope because I own the computer
Oh yeah, that post made a lot of sense ... to only you. Next time
provide reasonable context, or learn to reply to your EXISTING threads
to continue the discussion.
