I have been trying to set up daily backups using the task scheduler, but keep
getting this message: "An error has occurred while attempting to set task
account information. The specific error is: 0x80070005: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to perform the requested operation." I do have
full permissions so that should not be a problem. I have checked the
Microsoft knowledge Base and it appears that there may be a hotfix that I can
download to solve my problem, but I am cautioned not to do this unless I know
that my problem is caused by the specific problem that the hotfix fixes.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Or can someone please tell me how
to go about finding out whether it would be safe to install the hotfix?
