0x8DDD0004 & ActiceX

My WinUpdate give 0x8DDD0004 error. I Think it has something to do with
ActiveX.
For example, there is no ActiveX web-pages which will work with my Internet
Explorer. Also any pages which Flash dosen't work because installing
flashplayer needs ActiveX, I think.. I used to have some ActiveX files in
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files folder. Not anymore. Does Windows help
use ActiceX to work, because my help is not same as usually?

I have Win XP and SP1.

I have solved this problem..
I just install two IE updates and thats it!

Yes, Windows Update uses its own ActiveX controls as part of its
architecture. Search for and remove iuctl.dll and iuengine.dll just before
visiting the Windows Update website. The site should offer you new
software, and you can then load the ActiveX controls again, if that is what
you believe the problem is.
