I install SP3 via windows Update. And my laptop was running WinXP sp2 before
sp3 was installed.
After reading the prerequisites for a successful installation sp3 in the
website advised by you, I disabled and even uninstalled my anti-viruls
software before installing sp3.But the intallation still failed owning to the
same reason:Another program has opened or used the file
c:\windows\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe.
I am helpless.
Do you have a third-party program installed that customizes the graphics
that are displayed when your computer starts (e.g., BootXP; LogonUI Boot
Randomizer)?
Have you availed yourself of the free, unlimited support?
