HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update
to 1
net start wuauserv
Microsoft recommend users to turn on Automatic Updates to help their
computers stay secure.
May I ask why you want to turn off AU?
