Whenever I open IE6 it opens to http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx and the
page is blank. What is going on here?

Mike..
Not sure if this is your case.
The runonce option updates a registry setting then resorts once complete to your home page. Your system may be preventing that from occurring.
One of the causes, is resident programs running in the background such as Windows Defender, Adware and/or it component AdWatch, Spybot, SuperSpy Antispyware etc. If one or any of these are resident, Close IE, disable them from startup, reboot, then retry IE6. If it works, reset your home page using IE/Tools/Internet Options, close IE then reenable those you wish to use.

Make sure scripting is not disabled.

If that doesn't fix it, save the part between the lines below and paste into
Notepad. Save as Runonce.reg

---------------------Runonce.reg--------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"RunOnceHasShown"=dword:00000001
"RunOnceComplete"=dword:00000001

-----------------------------------------------------

Right click Runonce.reg and choose Merge.

To change all Windows users at once use

---------------------Runonce2.reg--------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"RunOnceHasShown"=dword:00000001
"RunOnceComplete"=dword:00000001

-----------------------------------------------------
