Hello,

strangely enough since Windows 2000, when surfing the net some homepages
will not display ADS and display a cross.

Normally this wouldn't bother me this much, but now I have updated to XP and
it is still there.

In all honesty i'm really missing the ADS now (sometimes it doesn't make the
site complete)
, is there an option in IExplorer that enables >> SHOW NO ADS, because those
Crosses are getting annoying,
and did 2000 IE5.0 had this option too ?

I hope someone here can help me.

greets NOL

Hi.

Is it only ads that aren't being displayed, or does that go for more images
on web pages?

If it's only ads, I'd have to assume that you have some application
blocking them.

Arnold,
Most likely what your seeing is entries in your HOSTS file that are blocking
(usually) 3rd party ad servers.
You can try renaming your HOSTS file to NOHOSTS.
