IE Won't do it twice

I can't go to an operation (example: like Download) twice when I am at a site. I have to close IE
than go back. Is there any way around this?

However, I can do it if it is a link to that page or other web site.

What are your Windows and IE versions, please? If WinXP, is it WinXP SP2?

My Windows XP is Media Center Edition 2005. Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.05301-1519, (Service pack 2)
and my IE is version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_grd.05301-1519

My news reader Agent usually does this don't know why it only shows the last message?

The hotfix I was thinking of would give you a URLMON.DLL version older than
the one you have now, so I don't think it'd address your issues.

Can you cite one or more URLs or download links where this occurs?

I hit the My book premium edition than went to D/L MY book Premium edition software. It did it the
first time. At this point you need a serial number so I canceled it and tried to go back to do it
again it wouldn't work.

I think it also happened @ COMPUSA.com Not sure.

That sounds like site- and/or file-specific restrictions to safeguard
against multiple downloads.

Compare to Webroot SpySweeper's free trial version: If you download it once,
you won't be able to download it a second time; ditto if you try to
reinstall the trial version you first downloaded or use an installer someone
else downloaded.
