I've searched this topic on Google but have not found an answer that works.
I've got my Windows XP Pro IE6 color settings (Tools > Internet Options > Colors) set and History (Tools > Internet Options > History) set to 30 days. I don't know of any other way to address this problem.
Can anyone help? Thanks!

The suggestions I found at these sites center on deleting the History folder, index.dat, and the Temporary Internet Files folder. I did all these things, downloading programs, going to Safe Mode and DOS and rebooting where necessary.
Unfortunately, there has been no change. Some links change to the visited color (purple) and others stay blue, as if they were not visited.
To be specific, the links I'm using to experiment with are on the Google News page, at http://news.google.com.
Any other possibilities? Thanks!
