I have some PDFs that contains links to specific pages in other PDF files.
Following is an example:
https://my.site.com/extranet/doclibrary/parameters/Ch6.pdf#page=128
When I open the PDF in IE and click the link, the second PDF opens to the
correct page with no problems.
When some others click the link, they get a "page not found error." When I
check the address bar, IE has changed the "#" to "%23".
Why is this happening? More specifically, why is it only happening to some
people? Is there a preference setting that I have turned on that they don't?

Why not post a real example so people can report their results to you?

Perhaps you are only using Acrobat Reader and the ones who
can use the feature are using the full feature (paid for) product?
The last time this issue came up it appeared that this could be a feature
which was not available in the Adobe freeware product but was available
in its full feature (paid for) product.
Hmm... the article that I cited in my previous reply has apparently
been replaced by a different number but it still doesn't clarify if the
feature is supposed to be available in the freeware product.

(Search on Adobe's Support site for
"named destination"
- in Tutorials and Troubleshooting...
)
And here's an old article which seems to support my speculation
about the feature only being available with specially prepared
documents. Perhaps this document was itself "specially prepared"?

(MSN search for
reader page anchor site:adobe.com
- modified to see if anybody gets to Page 2 immediately <eg>
)
Wow! Well, there goes that theory.
I'll leave the remaining test to see whether the Page= keyword
is case sensitive as an "exercise for the reader." <eg>
Good luck
