What version(s) of XML support do you have?

<title>KB278674 - Determine the Version of MSXML Parser Installed on a Computer</title>

Reregister (or reinstall) MSXML4.0?

<title>KB888741 - "An error occurred loading an XML document" error message when you start the Virtual Server Administration Website
program in Virtual Server 2005 </title>

Etc.

I installed MSXML 4.0, rebooted and still have no luck. I ran the filemon
utility and it says that it's still using msxml3.dll, not msxml4.dll. If
MSXML 4.0 is the solution, how do I get it to be honored by IE?

MSXML4 was a guess.

In that case I would try the same thing with MSXML3.

BTW notice that others were able to back out the changes on XP
using its System Restore facility. (See recent thread by Cybarber.)

Oleg Tkachenko [MVP] has posted another solution on his blog.

(Google web search for
netscape xslt MVP OR MSFT
)

BTW, you can update to MSXML3 SP7 by installing
latest MDAC 2.8 SP1
