I have a desire to create a custom import for the 'Database Model Diagram'.

I have a Visio 5.0 macro that reads a custom database definition, and
creates an E/R diagram. The tool I want to import from, creates databases.
It is not a database itself... Something like ERWin.

Now having upgrading to Visio 2000, I would like to update it to support the
new 'Database Model Diagram'. However, the rules have changed...

I found the following typelib:

Library MODELENGLib
C:\Program Files\Visio\Solutions\Visio Extras\MODELENG.dll
Visio 2000 Database Modeling Engine Type Library

Which looks very promising on automating the Database Model Diagram.
Unfortunately I have not found any documentation on this typelib.

Any one have any ideas?

Thanks
Jay

I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to get this type library to work (in
either VB or VBA) for several weeks. If you (or anyone else, for that
matter) get any farther, please let me know.

Thanks,
Scot.
