When there are spaces in a PDF file name - and this file is viewed - and the
user chooses to "Save as" the name contains % in the spaces in the file
name.

When the same procedure is done with af MS Office document it is handled
correct.

Is this a SharePoint issue or an Adobe issue?

Well, it's all in your point of view. I guess if anything it would be an
Adobe issue.

%20 is the url encoding for a space (urls don't contain actual spaces). I
don't know if I'd consider the lack of decoding the %20 back to a space a
true Adobe bug. Then again, you'd think they might have added this feature
to a product that's directed at the internet and has been out for about 10
years.

Anyway, that space is always going to be a nuisance. If you can get users
to replace them with underscores before they are uploaded it would be a good
idea. --Good Luck--.

Maybe somebody could write an event that would replace the file name spaces
with underscores on all uploaded files...

BTW - We noticed the same think regarding AutoCad files.
