In addition to Rob and Trevor's suggestion, you may find more
extensive help about selected Project functions is Microsoft Access
help. I'd start with Help in Project -- search for "Project
functions". Read the help there and then once you know the name of
the function, if you run MS Access ask for help on that function
from within Access. Some of the mathematical functions are very
similar to Excel as well.
