Hello Kathy,

The compare projects utility is a COM add-in. See if the following
steps work.

Tools > Customize > Toolbars.
In the customize dialog box, select the Commands tab.
In the Categories: list scroll to find All Commands.
Click on All Commands and in the Commands: list on the right find
ComAddInsDialog.
Drag that command to any toolbar.
Click the COM Add-Ins... toolbar button and you should see the list of
add-ins.
My installation shows the following when I select the Compare Project
Versions Utility:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\COMPPRJ.DLL

Try removing and then adding the file.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Thank you! Prior to the note I was able to show the AddIns but it said they
weren't loaded. That last step of removing then adding again kicked it off.
Wonderful!!!! Thank you for all your help. Save me a ton of frustration.

Kathy,

Thanks, this worked great! I unchecked the listed add-in, clicked "OK", and then restarted MS Project 2007. I re-enabled the add-in and it worked liked a charm.
