Budget

hi everbody..
In our Company every Project has a Budget. The Problem is: The Projects do
not have a total Budget, they have years Budget.
For examle:
Project X has 1000$ Budget in 2006 and 2000$ in 2007.
How can I compare the actualcosts of 2006 with the Budget of 2006 and the
actual cost of 2007 with the budget of 2007.
I try to use Portfolio-views. becasuese u can change the time. but it is
possible to use my own enterprisefileds (budget2006- budget2007).
So I try to use Projetcenter views. Hier I can use my own Fields(budget2006-
budget2007). But I can not find the costs of a year.
please help me..

Dear MAT

Define an Enterprize Project Field in Global Template and create
formula to add the cost of all years. This field will be available in
every project. after creating the field close project pro and Open it
again. Then open the project where you have cost data. Try to change
some cost data or proess F9 or Tools -> Calculation and Click Calculate
Now. Now to see your cost click Project -> Project Information Dialog
box. There you will find the value of your Total Cost.

Dear MAT

Just insert or write "Cost" Field to the formula section and save the
field.
Insert "Baseline Cost" If you wanted to see Baseline Cost
Insert "Actual Cost" if you wanted to see Actual Cost

You can use Enterprize Cost or number fields.
