Has anyone seen this happen. In PowerPoint 2007 I have a presentation
with two slides, on slide 1 I have a 3D stacked column chart. I chose
to display the data table with legend keys. I have the same setup for
a different chart on slide 2. In Normal view, I switch from slide 1
to slide 2, and then go back again. It looks like each time I switch
back that the data table has moved upward. If I continue to do this
the data table will overlap my chart. Any Ideas?

I am using PowerPoint 2007, I have tried switching to compatibility
mode, which does not resolve the issue. The same presentation does
not exhibit this behavior when viewed in PowerPoint 2003. When I
resize the chart area, it reverts to being correct, until I switch
from slide to slide again. This happens on presentations that I have
created, and presentations that others have created.. It seems like a
bug...

Hi Todd

Yep, I can reproduce that behaviour here. Just plain strange. If I reapply
the layout (home -> slides -> layout -> title & content) it fixes itself so
all I can suggest is you do that before presenting. Not an ideal solution
obviously, but a work around. And unfortunately SP1 only came out this week
so you could be waiting a while for a fix...

Thanks, I thought I was going crazy.. the only things that I have
found that have "remedied" the issue, other than your suggestion is
either:
A) making the chart 2 dimensional vice 3D
-or-
B) creating a macro that resizes the chart upon slide activation
(which is currently being worked on.. will post code when done)
