I seem to remember that there is a way to automatically insert a signature
graphic into each outgoing message, but I can't remember how to do it. When
I open Tools>Options>Signatures and choose a graphic file, then open a new
message, I get a warning that the file I chose is not a valid file. I know
how to obtain the html code for the graphic once inserted, but if I choose
the html file as a signature, the code is inserted into the body of the
mail. I do know to use the rich text format.
Can anyone help me with this? What IS a valid signature file?

Thanks so much for your help!

Maddy

In order to use an image in a signature, you must be using HTML format
messages. The signature itself must be an HTML file that references the
image file that you want to appear.
