Can't resize Outlook Window-Maximize or Minimize Only

Have seen several instances of this question, but still
no answer:
Can't seem to find this on any of the site. My outlook
window can only be minimized or maximized. You can't
resize it to a normal window. Have repaired Outlook to
no avail Any help is appreciated.
I am running Office 2000 on WinXP and both are fully
patched and updated.

do this:
right click on top left hand corner of outlook window, which you want to
resize, a menu will pop up, choose restore, then use your mouse pointer to
point to edges of this window, drag to desired size, in the end it will be
resized per your desires.
