This has been bugging me for a few years over several different PCs.

Sometimes whilst writing an email in Outlook I'll paste something in
using ctrl+v - but instead of pasting Outlook sends the message. Has
anyone else ever experienced this?

Super annoying as it means you end up sending a half written message.
I now set up a rule that delays sending of all messages by 1 minute to
catch messages before they go.

Is this a known bug, or is it just some bad vibe between me and the
computers I work on.

Are you pressing ctrl + v then pressing enter?

Because ctrl + enter sends the message to.

No - just ctrl + v - and it doesn't happen every time. But frequently
enough and on at least four PCs I have used so that I know it is a
persistant annoyance.

I have experienced this many times as well. It's so annoying that I've considered leaving gmail. No, it's not that I'm pressing CTRL+Enter, it's clearly happening when I hit CTRL+V. It's very disruptive because it will mess up the message and cause the recipient to misinterpret what you intended.

I thought it *was possible* my finger was lingering on the CTRL key when I hit enter, so I remained mindful of this. In addition, I went into settings and *disabled* the shortcut keys so this shouldn't have happened anyway!

I've had this happen in multiple browsers (chrome, firefox, opera) in windows and in linux. I'm done with this bug. I want a new email system.

It happens frequently enough to be troublesome (like at least twice a week if I use email heavily)
