I have created a group in Outlook. I would like to print the names of the
group members in alphabetical order by last name but the list always sorted
by first name. Did I do something wrong?

Can you explain what you mean? Outlook doesn't have any contruct called a
"group". Outlook Express does. Outlook has "Distribution Lists"

My experimenation shows that the address book display uses the Contact
item's Subject field, displayed alphabetically. Open a contact and select
the All Fields tab. In the "Select from" drop-down, specify the "All
Contact" or "All Mail Fields" value and observe the "Subject" field. I
believe you'll find it matches what you see in the address book. I modified
that field for one of my contacts and it was displayed in the address book
as "Last, First" after that.

Probably the easiest way to do this is to export the file to excel and
resort it.

The other way is to change the subject line field in the all contact
field.

Hope this helps.
