I have numerous reoccuring meetings. After meeting ended, I write reminder
notes on each which I need to keep.

My issues happens when I change or end a reoccuring meeting. I lose all my
notes on all previous meetings.

Is there a solution to this or am I just banging my head over and over. Any
suggestions will be appreciated! Thank you!

Recurring events are not multiple items. They are a single entry in the
calendar. with all the recurrences calculated based on the starting data and
the recurrence value. Many things you do to change the series will cause
Outlook to regenerate the series, eliminating the exceptions.

Whether you can work around this is dependent on what type of change you're
making. If, for example, you're ending a series that previously had no end
date, you can first export the series from its start date to the date to which
you are going to set the end, which will export all of the recurrences,
including their notes. You can set then delete the event and import the
exported data, making the entries individual items with all of the data you
had added. Other types of changes that are not time-dependent may not be so
easy to deal with.
