Office 2003 0xc0150002 Initialize Error

to test out the new 2003 Beta package and have ran into an
error on every install and cd. After installing and
restarting, I go to load the program and receive a
0xc0150002 Error: Failed to initialize properly. I just
wanted to see if anyone knew of a way to solve this or if
its a fairly large problem with the Beta? Thanks.

This seems to happen more frequently if you were using
Windows XP Home then upgraded to Windows XP Professional.
To add one bit to Milly's reply after installing
MS Windows XP Service Pack 1 SP1 from
http://windowsupdate.com restart the PC then install
the Office System 2003 Beta 2.

there some documentation you could post to the group or me privately that
covers this? I did not think that there were that many people who upgraded
to Pro from Home versions of Windows.
Any assistance will be appreciated. Oh, and ignore the auto-responder on my

I just got exact same error message on a Win XP Pro, and I have not
upgrated from a Home edition.
My Windows XP hang sometimes, and i decide to reinstall Windows XP
from the CD, without eraseing something first. Windows XP reinstalls
fine, but my Office 11 Beta now starts up with an error "The
application failed to initialize properly (0x0150002). Click OK to
terminate the application", this happens for all office applications.
Okay - Reinstalled Office from Control panel, but same problem.
Okay - I removed Office 11 and installed it again, SAME PROBLEM, so
now I don't know what to do to get Office back. ????
